Parity circuit failure ??

beep having a few problems with my mobo not posting and its gotten to the point it barely comes on now ( using lappy to type this ) .

ive heard it doing 2 short beeps a lot and looked into what it means ... what is Parity circuit failure ?

i'm about to change he whole thing anyway, but was hoping to keep the board for a 2nd build.

is it fixable ?

no.. will try that soon .. i just need this thing running a few weeks .. got the parts for a new one .. but cant build myself lol

ok.. back in business ( for now ) ..

pulled both sticks out and just did one at a time .. nothing happened... then tried agin and it booted .. then added teh 2nd and that booted as well......abit odd but alls well atm

the first ram slot had popped open so that might have been the issue

Okay, how about resetting your BIOS settings and running the RAM slightly under spec (say, 800MHz if you're running it at 1066 right now).

ive had running again ( not done what you suggested yet )

but ive just noticed my br drive wont open .. any chance that might be the problem ? not stuck a disc in since i re-installed windows a few weeks back .... but the issue was there before that

Are you sure it's still plugged into the PSU after you've been inside the case?
