Off there tomorrow night, last minute thing has poped up and iam driving. Anyone live near the area, or drove and parked and could offer advise on where to park?

Thanks all :)

Nothing at all on the roads. They are all double-yellows and resident parking only now.

As a word of warning, driving around central London is a nightmare, it is horrendous to navigate and even if you know where you are going with a map the amount of one way streets will drive you insane.

I personally wouldn't bother without a tomtom or direction telling device.

You can park in some roads in Herne Hill and get the train one stop (4-5 mins) to Brixton, but it's a bit of a long walk from where you can park to Herne Hill station. You can park on Croxted Road and any of the roads that come off it. All residential there and they are the closest to the station that you can park, plus the added bonus they are the nicer side of Herne Hill :)

Round the back from the Ritzy (down Coldharbour Lane) the streets off that to the right.

Saltoun Road, Kellett Road, Mervan Road are all streets I park on when I go to Brixton. Then just walk down the centre of town to the Academy. Never had any issues parking on those 3 or 4 streets.

Google Maps it
