I am going to Roundhouse on Sunday which is next to the Chalk Farm stop, has anyone had any recent experience with parking?

I have read I am best to park at Colindale station and take the northern line in? is this the best option?

Probably your best bet if Colindale is the closest northern line station as you'll be lottery winning lucky to find a nearby parking space, though it isn't impossible.
Wouldn't chance it myself.

camden roundhouse is in a restricted zone which on a sunday runs from 9:30am to 11pm HOWEVER, just up the road is adelaide road which is also a controlled parking zone but the restrictions only run Monday to Saturday - which means you can park in a permit spot on a sunday. If you park your car along there, you can walk to the roundhouse.

An anecdote below, you don't need to read it:

I made a mistake a few years ago to park next to sainsburys opposite the roundhouse on a single yellow on a sat evening/sunday as I thought it was free parking on weekends.

I was wrong and ended up getting my car towed. I went back the next day believing someone had stolen my car and ended up finding a couple of policemen and telling them. They had no idea where it was. I searched on my nokia on the internet and found a number for the kentish town car pound. I ended up paying £260 for the pleasure of releasing my car.

Annoyed at this, I found an internet forum which specialised in contesting car charges. I contested with some "interesting" arguments/technicalities (proof warden was wearing an uniform) and eventually had my money refunded to me. Winner.

Yeah! Roundhouse that sucker and follow in with some windmilling with your sovereign rings. That'll learn it!

Cheers guys, manage to find a 100 space car park 1mile away called Swiss Cottage Car Park, managed to pre book for £10!

thanks for advice anyway.
