I just got a parking ticket for parking in a disabled spot, however it was not clear that i was disabled as the paint was very thin on the ground, what do ytou think my chances are of appealing against the ticket??

Same thing happened to me. I moved my dads car because I was blocking an area where vans pass to get to the back (more out of nice jesture) and rolled right onto a disabled spot, left for 5 mins and there appears the jackass happy as can be, I moved from legal to illegal spot ha.

You would be pleading ignorance ~ which doesnt help lol just take it and move on, I was peeved off too. So tempted to smack him, but meh why do it Id just be slapped in jail.

Anyone notice in their area that traffic wardens have scooters and L plates? they set them targets to get X amount of cars a day or they are out! Id love to insert a few more words but I will stop now :)

There should have been a sign on a post next to it saying disabled parking bay or similar, also should have had 'disabled' painted on the line surrounding the parking bay. if there wasn't you could appeal. If it was marked either on road or post or both you have no real reason to contest it.
