Parking Time Question!

Quick query, I think i'm right, but who knows (and could do without the ticket!).

Travelled down for work, and managed to find on-road parking. The sign says 8am-6pm for 1h, with no return within 2h.

I'm staying in a hotel, and so will be leaving in the morning, ideally around 8.30.

As my car will be there overnight, and from 8AM, will i then get the hour free parking til 9?

I would say so, but wondered if anyone else knew for sure...

Surely you would have to buy a ticket for 8-9am? Or is it free parking for an hour? If the latter then you should be ok.

Sounds fine to me. You can be there until 9am the next day.

great. yeah, it's free for an hour. Didn't know if i was oversimplifying! Hotel suggested i would need to move it for 8 which is what made me question myself.
