Haven't done much folding since the servers went nuts been gaming, i not even folding now and im not using it for anything :(

Might even put it in a 'Not on status' in the morning when i go to bed :eek:

I blame my sick GPU for constantly giving me ballache and BSOD's i want a new GPU dammit :(

I might be a Single Machine Cruncher for a little longer on my i7. I still haven't installed Server 2008 on my other machine and I don't particularly want to be running two folders in my room while I wait! :p

SO many things I need to do! >.<
 
Still not folding and have removed one GTX, gaming is gonna suck big time now :(

Down to 3.4Ghz and no HT :( *Edits sig*

Cant wait for my new keyboard to arrive will make up for the unhappiness that i currently have :D
 
Well whilst i am still up (really should get a bed now) :confused:

Erm well that would have been ok but i threw it at a wall in rage and it is officially dead :(
I have a really bad way when things are not going right :mad: there is a picture of some RAM around these parts that i killed :D

But don't rest i gave in and started with one GPU and A slightly gimped 3.8Ghz SMP see how i go it's like an illness i swear :D i am currently @ 22K PPD :(

Edit: Also got to plaster the wall there's a slight Nvidia shaped mark on it i really should sort out my anger issues might land me in some trouble one day :(

Wow seriously. If your reaction is to launch the offending article you could hurt someone one day. A kilogram or more of ballistic graphics card could leave a nasty dent - and I am not talking about in plaster! :eek:

When I were younger I used to get really angry over stupid stuff. Very rarely went ape **** and broke anything but I always found myself reaaaalllly wanting to! :p

Best way to resolve I found is to just walk away. Leave it for a few hours or overnight or whatever. That way you can come back to it knowing it is broken and see if you can coax it into life rather than "WHY WONT YOU WORK!!!" /hulkmodeon :D

@ SirusB, if anyone's in my house without my knowledge they deserve a graphic's card in the head :)

@ Happy, Erm yeah bit of a stupid thing to do but it deserved it :p

But it's not the first thing i have destroyed and wont be the last just don't phone me when I'm asleep the last time that happened the phone got snapped in 2, I'm a nice person really wouldn't think to look at me that i go around killing electronics on a regular basis :D
 
I've woken up with shards of an alarm clock embedded in my fist so you have my sympathy for that. Graphics card into wall is just mean though, it tried it's best :(

22k is well over what I'm getting, starting to be paranoid about my cpu throttling
 
Well my Gainward has a warranty so if it goes wrong i can send it away for a smacked arse for failing

Although i am having trouble sending WU's from the GPU now been doing it all day is Stanford still peeing about or do i have to kill my PC now :confused:

Is your <22k just your CPU? 'Cause mine's at 4.1GHz and I've only gone above 20k on it once, it's normally several k PPD lower than that, on average. Unless you're also running a GTX260, maybe more, and still not reaching 22k I wouldn't worry about throttling/your CPU cycles being eaten by the cookie monster!
 
Somethings definitely up with it. Woke up to find X had given up on me, and the smp client taking a good two or three hours per %. Rebooted and it's back to a reasonable 3.5 minutes per frame. Even when running well though fahmon is putting it at about 7k ppd, and I'm sure my old 9550 beat that. I'm having some trouble which points are attributed to the cpu and which to the two 8800gt's though.

The alarm clock had it coming :)
