Not sure what is happening with Ligerzero's output, but it looks like I may catch him sometime later today (a couple of days ago it looked like he would race away from me).

So here goes with an official PARP to Ligerzero and lets see what happens.:D

Yes, it looks like the deed is done for now.

I'll keep a close watch on the backdoor for a while, on the long slow trawl after you Sculptor (unless I pull my finger out and get some GPU goodness to add to my farm that is).:D

Looks like Ligerzero wants the number one spot back again.

He's just steamed past me to unstomp himself and his output has apparently quadrupled over the last few days

I'll have to decide whether I go after him or not. ;)

Looks like I've moved back in front again - so that would make it a Re-Stomp.

It will be interesting to see how long it lasts this time, especially as my new graphics cards haven't landed yet.

Nothing's getting collected or delivered at the moment. We had a couple of courier deliveries on Wednesday but nothing since and we usually get several every day. I've got two items waiting to be collected but the courier company's yard is frozen over and they can't unload what's already there let alone go out and get more. Still, the new stock for my spring gun finally arrived so I'll be applying the walnut oil to it this weekend. :D

I can cope with what a stock is, and why one would like a wooden one - and the oiling of said wood for protection and all that but:

spring gun - as in 'spring' the season - as in you have a gun for every season or
spring - as is boing, boing.

Well, given a bit of logical deduction and Google, which knoweth all, I think this might be it...

Spring Gun (also: Piston Gun)

Airgun powered by a compressed metal spring or gas strut driving a piston, which is usually cocked in a single stroke. Some variable cocking stroke piston airguns are available. Some may have multi-shot magazines. All are single shot per piston release.

The major disadvantage is spring "recoil" or piston jump on discharge occurring before the pellet has left the muzzle. This can upset accuracy and discourage novices.

That's the one, specifically this one (in its original stock):

I'll take a new photo once I've finished the new stock and that will be my sig for a while. I'd love an automated sig changer.....
