Sorry mate looks like Ill be moving into Cell 2 in a few days time.

Ive reconfigured my pcs hadnt realised just how good the GPU client was with the Nvidia cards, should triple my old output (5000 ppd) for just a slight increase in lecky costs.;)
Ill make sure Cell 3 is nice and clean and tidy for you and as usual leave a few bottles of Real Ale in the fridge.

Hmm, I'll have to have a think about this.

If I dropped Rosetta for a while, I could make it very difficult for you (5 x Q6600's alone should give me over 12,000 PPD, probably more). I was contemplating getting some graphics cards for GPU crunching (like 5 9800GX2's), but I'm saving up for some work on the house, so you're probably safe from that threat as well for now.

I'll let you know in a day or so if I'm going to let you have cell 2 :D
 
Lets face it "2nd" just sounds so much better than "3rd". Judging by his recent activity LigerZero likes the sound of "1st" too much too. ;)

Wondered where all your output had gone magman, so Im probably not too safe in Cell 2.
By the look of KE1HAs production looks like there will be a few changes at the top pretty soon.

Now worries from me Mr. sculptor. I'd have to buy stock in (PG&E) Pacfic Electric & Gas to catch you !! And we're in a "Green State" so I'd have the enviromental hounds after me for using excessive amounts of power !!!!

OK, that's enough slacking on folding, time to switch some of my quads back onto this project.

Just waiting for the BOINC queue's to clear then a folding we will go.

It will be interesting to see how 4 Q6600's (along with 2 of my older crunchers) fare against these GPU upstarts. I might even be tempted to start overclocking them (though I haven't really got the time to spend on this task at present).

I also picked up a nice Dual Opteron server off eBay last weekend, for the princely sum of £30, that I should be able to get folding in the near future (need some rack mounts though to move it into the garage first, as too bloody noisy for my study).

Should start seeing some results over the weekend. :D

Most propably mine, but hey the teams going great guns now.
