Purchased a car last weekend a 58 Plate Honda Civic 2.2 i-CTDi but sadly as its a January 2009 car it doesn't come with any iPod Connection or Aux In.

I know that its possible to get Honda to fit a cable but at £200 it seems steep.

I've been looking at the Parrot MKI9200 kit and it looks to add a lot of functionality, especially adding Bluetooth Ability which would be handy for my phone and being able to use my Blackberry or Playbook to stream music but I was just wondering if anyone can comment on how good it is? The reviews in the press seem great but user reviews a bit more mixed.

I has almost this exact combination - although it was a 1.8 petrol civic and the MKi9000.

Firstly its a real pig to install the kit, you need to take a load of the civic dash out to get to the back of the stereo so if you do it yourself it will take you about 2 hours... (check http://www.civinfo.com/ for guides to getting into the dash)

In terms of the kit they are pretty good, can be a little temperamental sometimes but generally I was very please with it - if you mount the phone somewhere you can see it you don't really need the extra screen though, better off using using the iPhone to control the music etc.
