Am I being daft or is this really a botched repair or something?

They've probably had a bump and cracked a lense and replaced it with this. Surely that's got bulb warning errors all over the dash too.

Is it xenon or is it a bi halogen?

Don't know if the clio came with them or not.

Someones replaced the headlamp with a normal halogen one. I'd guess they just saw the prices and went for the cheapest option.

And yes, that is an MOT failure now.

Both might be halogen, in which case not an mot fail or anything.

You could be right, I just assumed the O/S one was HID due to the projector lens
