I'm currently looking into doing a 10 week course, one night a week (3 hour session) to get some more of a know-how about motors. I found a course in Portsmouth that costs £80 which is pretty reasonable so thinking about starting this in a few months time.

Any one here been to some thing like this? Would it be a worth while experience? I say yes probably, but I'm after some other opinions.

Certainly not a bad idea at this time of year as most places teaching something like this will have a workshop you can make use of to get some jobs done on your car without having to roll around in the cold, wet weather.

Thats what I mean. I'm scared of buggering up the car doing it myself not knowing exactly what to expect and how to put things back together.
