Parted magic stays on setting up system files and goes not further, happening on my lenovo Y510P, any help appreciated.

Fixed, booted from legacy mode and chose 32 bit option.

It will not awake from sleep, however, for anyone who has this problem, there is another solution. Disconnect power cable to HDD and wait 30 seconds and then reconnect power and wait another 30 seconds, worked a treat.
