Decided that I will upgrade now and get these to add to my current setup:
Samsung 750GB SSD 840 EVO SATA 6Gb/s Basic
Intel Core i7-4770K 3.50GHz (Haswell) Socket LGA1150 Processor - Retail
Asus Z87-A Intel Z87 (Socket 1150) DDR3 ATX Motherboard
Just wondering if I will need a new PSU to run this along with what i already have, is this going to be ok for a 750W? I would have thought it would be using less power with the 4770k being a lower Wattage processor than my i5-750.
I will be using:
PSU: Corsair HX750W
GPU: Gigabyte GTX 670 Windforce
RAM: 8GB Corsair Vengeance LP 1600mhz
Decided I will use my Noctua NH-U12P SE2 cooler as well and see if it is any good.
My uses are 60% gaming, 40% design/editing (CAD, SketchUp & Photoshop). Any proposed changes or advice is welcome.
