Folks,
My current configuration is:

Q6600@3600MHz
P5Q Deluxe
Cosair XMS2 2X2GB DDR2-1066, Kingston 2X2GB DDR2-800
GTX 560 Ti 1GB OC
OCZ Vertex 2 SATAII 60GB SSD
Asus Lightscribe DVD-RW
Cosair TX750W
Corsair H60 Hydro CPU Cooler
Corsair 600T
Windows 7 Ultimate

I want to do a partial upgrade and replace the CPU to i-Core 5 and a iCore 5 MB.

Could you help to recommend which CPU, what RAM sticks I need, preferably DDR3. Also could you advise if the Corsair H60 Hydro CPU Cooler could be reused. And also is the Cosair 600T enough to drive the new CPU. I will reuse the 560 Ti for now.

MANY THANKS!!!
Peter

Is 3570K the same overclockability like the 2500K does?
Also is Ivy bridge faster than Sandy Bridge?
What upgrade path would that be for the graphics card?

You will get a slightly lower overclock, but clock for clock the IB CPU is faster.

Do you have a budget for the GPU, in saying that your GPU is still fairly reasonable card.

The 600t is your case and won't be driving anything. The tx 750 is plenty of power for two of the fastest graphics cards today. So you will be fine

Thanks folks. I think I know where I stand.

Any Asus motherboard recommendation?
