Basically, PC is starting to get a wee bit slow nowadays, and most of the ports on my current cheap case don't work and the USB ports on my motherboard are on the way out.
So I was thinking about how much I could upgrade using a lot of my current set up.
This is what im going to be reusing;
Power Supply is OCZ ModXStream Pro 600W Modular PSU -135mm Fan
My ram is in two lots -
GeIL Black Dragon 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C11 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit
and
OCZ Reaper Low-Latency 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C6 1600MHz Dual-Channel
and my storage drives.
I was thinking initially, Replace my CPU and keep my Graphics card for a little bit until I can afford one, But what I have currently is;
AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition Socket AM3 3.2 GHz 6MB L3 Cache
Palit GeForce GTX 460 768MB GDDR5
I was thinking of going m-atx for the new prodigy case, But if you can reccomend anything for a similar price board/case then im open to everything.
Ive got these currently, One AMD one Intel.
Im not too sure if either of those are good, if they are worth the jump from what I have now, Ive only asked one person about this thus far and he is very Intel biased so I dunno whether to beleive him.
But any recommendations would be lovely, Budget is 300, but closer to 250 the better ideally. Cheers!
