Partial upgrade

Hi there,

I'm finally planning to get around to upgrading my 6 year old i5-4690k build.

I don't have an exact budget but I'm looking to base the cpu around an i7 (or ryzen equivalent)

It will mostly be used for gaming. Currently at 1080p, but I'm planning on getting a new 1440p monitor early next year.

Parts I'm looking at upgrading are
Motherboard
CPU
RAM

I was wondering if I can reuse my
Focus Plus 550W 80 Plus Gold Modular Power Supply
and
Hyper Evo 212 CPU cooler (happy for alternative suggestions if this won't be sufficient)

Reusing Case, GPU (upgrading to 3000 series later) and SSD.

What CPU would you recommend? I was looking at the i7 10700k. I don't have any knowledge of AMD.

I've got a 5800x..... but not the rest of the build. What motherboard what you recommend? Also would an air cooler be viable, if so, which one? Thanks.
