Partioning XP - QUICK ANSWERS

OK, so currently installing XP

how should I partition the drives?
was thinking
100gb for XP and critical apps
300gb for other apps and games
600gb for media

all of which will never be filled.

also at some point in the future I will be installing vista, now i want vista to be able to acces media and if possible the other apps and games partition

should i create a partition for vista at the moment, if so how big?

also been reading up about the XP disk management but confused with all the primary and logic drives and what not....

so help!!!

There are plenty of threads on this already. Read the information that is already available to you, and then draw your own conclusions.

it's all talking about using other software of partitioning for vista...well the stuff search has found at the moment

I would give XP approx 40GB IMO.
