partition magic failure

hi guys my sons computer was running out of space on drive c so i used pm8 to merge them and got an error and now pc wont boot what do i do i feel guilty and hope to recover it or welose all the data please help

do not use the drive or else you may end up messing up any chance of recovery, youre gonna need a spare harddrive which you can plug into the machine then you may be able to just use a linux live cd and mount the drive and copy it across or you may need to install windows on the spare drive and use some file recovery software to move the files across

Ooooo looks like a nice peice of kit il need to keep that in my useful programs stack

its a freakin awesome tool, when i accidentally removed my partition of my usb drive when doing an xp install it restored it (as long as nothing is written to drive, its fine)

had to replace the h/drive kept getting fatel errors on drive which caused it to crash inthe first place thanks any way
