I have three two partitions on my RAID array: C (system), and D (programs), plus 40GB of unpartitioned space.
I just tried to merge the free space into D with PartitionMagic by creating a partition with it and then merging that partition into a folder on D. It got half way through merging it when it said it'd found bad sector and ground to a halt. Upon rebooting, I was presented with an empty 40GB D, and 90GB of unpartitioned space
Is there anything at all I can do to recover what was on the old D partition? I've reinstalled PartitionMagic on a different disc but there doesn't seem to be a huge amount it can do.
