Partition resizing on W2K Server

I have taken over the support of the above on a Compaq Presario ML370.

I have 2 virtual drives across a disk (4gb & 12gb) and I need to resize as the first has only 138mb free.

I've tried Partion Magic v8 and Paragon Disk Manager and neither installs on this op-sys.

What should I use to do this please?

Wrong forum (RTFM for you).

I like to use the one on the Ubuntu Live CD when I need to resize a hdd. http://www.ubuntu.com/getubuntu/download

Unless it includes some network cable I don't count it as a network problem.

Once the live CD has booted up (try normal and safe graphical) you want a program called gparted. Tell us how you get on.

Be careful resizing Dynamic Disks in Windows 2000 - they can turn flakey and then you're in the deep doo doo.

Obviously make a rock solid backup of your system before you start.
