I have a question for those that partition their drives.
Lets use this as an example. If i had a drive failure on my C drive, but all my photos, music, games etc.... were on a different volume (D). When i go to reinstall win on C drive, would the new install be able to launch application that were installed on D?
Am i right in thinking that because the app wasn't installed under that install of Windows, the registry wouldn't point to the correct location? If so, how do you get around this?
