... Is there one? I couldnt find one last time I looked (probubly a good 12 months ago) and cant seem to find one now. The Vista hard drive manager is shockingly poor.

any suggestions?

Cheers

There is nothing wrong with the vista one at all.

It lets you do anything that possible with formatting/partitioning a disk, and more if you use dynamic disks.

What are you trying to do

I agree its a good app but does Partition Magic support Vista? now that Symantec own PM according to there website v8 doesn’t list Vista support

Can anyone confirm if it works ?

i had problems with partition magic in vista...one of the drives it claimed it was a bad disk that needed formatting(it didnt) and the other it said it was something like a vista partition and wasnt supported.

partition manager worked just fine on both hard disks

Partition Magic is no go for vista then

i will check out Partition Manager, Cheers

Well thats gone and screwed it!

Half way through setting up my partitions with Partition Manager and it crashed, turned off my computer, and nwo when I turn it on it asks for the Recovery CD. Im running the Dell Diagnostics tool atm, but I can sence a complete Vista reinstall...
