Partitioning

Hiya,
I want to do a quick Windows 7 RC test on my main system. My Os drive is a 150gb raptor with around 70gb free. If I amke a partition of around 50gb and install the Rc onto that for a few weeks to have a mess around in, Can i then delete the RC partition and give that space back to Vista?

Yes, just make sure you back up your stuff before messing around with partitions.

Yes. Once you make the parition you system upon bootup will recognise there are two OS and it will ask which OS to boot up.

Once your done with Windows 7, just delete the parition and it will go back to 'normal'

When you delete the partition you have to tell Vista to reclaim the space. This is done from the disk management console.
