Parts cost changes

Hi all,

Just looking for some clarification on a order placed. Currently not shipped due to part on pre-order, however another part that was on pre-order which has now come in stock is cheaper than when I originally ordered / paid for it. Do OcUK offer price difference refunds at all? Seems like bad play if they charge X for a product on pre-order, then lower the price when it comes back in stock.

The last time I saw this asked, it was about graphics cards and the answer was: no, because they don't ask you for more money if the price goes up.

No harm in asking though.

Could always cancel and order again is my logic.

What part is it, and is it worth the hassle of cancelling and re-ordering?
