Parts help please!

Hi there,

I'm new to customizing my own PC (I currently have a pre-build) and was wondering if anyone could help out.. I have some parts picked out already but I just want to be sure they are all compatible and will work well together

CPU: Intel® Core™ i9-10850K
Motherboard: ASUS TUF GAMING Z490-Plus
GPU: MSI GeForce® RTX 3080 10GB
PSU: Corsair HX850 850W
HDD: 4TB Seagate IronWolf Pro SATA-III
SSD: 1TB Seagate Barracuda
RAM: 32GB (4x8GB) DDR4/3200mhz
Case: Lian Li Lancool II Mesh White Mid-Tower

If anyone could give me any advice if I need to change anything please let me know!

Hi,

Everything is compatible and should work well.

Don't see a cpu cooler

What are you using your pc for e.g gaming?

Go for 2x 16 GB. It will be slightly faster and allow for upgrades later on.

I agree. You'll need something better than the Intel stock cooler.

Do you really need a HDD? Might a smaller SSD suffice?

Oops forgot to add it! Corsair Hydro Series H150i 360mm

Yes its for gaming, I mainly play open world games and COD

Shame this cooler isnt in stock would have gone well with your build

Hi welcome to the forum

Are you not considering Ryzen ?

As for Intel, the Z590 boards are due out any day (You can pre-order), and the 11th series cpu's in March. It is only a refresh of the current 14nm architecture, but it will have a bit of a performance jump over current 10th gen.
