Hi Guys and Gals,

I'm off to Prague in November and would like to hostel(slum!) it!!

So has anyone been.

Recommend a decent, fun lively hostel where you can meet fellow fun travellers. I've seen ELF recommended, but it seems a bit grotty on the website

Also any awesome pubs/bars/clubs/restaurants?

Thank you

Wencelas Square is a good spot for starting off, plenty of choice (Beer Factory is a must :D)

Highly recommend Roxy (DnB) just passed the old square, Karlovy Lazne (5 story night club near Charles Bridge), and Radox FX (RnB, not sure where that one was)

Not sure of any hostels around here but I know there are a few.

For nightclubs then check out Sasazu (usually got some kind of event on) although drinks aren't the cheapest.

Ocko is usually quite busy too at nights although closes relatively early I think.

M1 is always packed later on in the evening until around 5am although it is a bit small.

Gold Fingers or Darlings Cabaret Club if you are in to half-naked women.

If you are travelling with a group, just avoid the black guys who will hustle you to go places by saying you aren't interested.

Hi,

We stayed at Prague Square Hostel. It was quality. The location is great, close to lots of things; which means you can walk everywhere.

The best night we had was on a bar crawl, it meets under the astronomical clock; there should be flyers in the hostel. This is the website, http://thecrawl.cz/.
There are a few different crawls about, but this was by far the best; recommended.

The best bar we visited was the Chapeau Rouge Club, the above bar crawl takes you to it.

No idea about hostels as I live here, sorry. If you're going with friends look at short term flat rentals that cater for tourists.

Bars/Clubs - Celnice, Mecca, Silwer, Vertigo, M1 Lounge, KU Bar, Sasazu and Duplex are all pretty good, some depending on the day you go.
