Party popper in the ear.

Hi all,

So tonight a 'friend' pulled a party popper right next to my ear...

I can now not hear through that ear and have a constant ringing noise .....

It's been 5 hours and still the same...

Anyone know if I'll actually get my hearing back in my left ear? :(

Owww. Really? C'mon.


I had this once, expect a boy screamed in my ear as a joke. The hearing in that ear was affected for a few days with ringing, feeling weird, but it's still not right or as good as the other ear. This is about 8 years ago now.
 
If its still like that in the morning see the doc.

I've had about a litre of 260psi air blast out near my head resulting in substantial hearing problems including ringing.

Recovered fine by the next day but can't say the same for all hearing damage so if its not getting any better see the doc.
 
It'll most likely come back. I've had plenty occasions after big club nights where my hearing was ringing for a couple of days and it slowly rectified itself. I wouldn't worry if I were you, go to sleep and see what it's like in the morning. If it hasn't improved maybe start worrying. No medical threads mind.
