Hi all,

Any disadvantage to using the pass-through type homeplugs rather than the regular type?

I need to sort my mum out as she's currently got a VM superhub in one corner of the house downstairs, and her PC is connected wirelessly upstairs at the opposite end of the house. It's flaky to say the least.

I can't talk her into having an ethernet cable run through the house at the minute so thought homeplugs would be the next best thing, but she is very limited on socket outlets. I was thinking pass through homeplug directly into the wall with her current (full but safely loaded) multi way extension leads coming out of that.

Thanks :)

Thanks guys.

Was slightly worried if the pass through type would lower the power rating of the socket but I found a set on the high street and they said they were rated up to 3000W so no problem. More expensive than the regular type though!

Fitted and working fine.
