Just passed my driving test today at 1pm with a total of 4 minor faults :D , it was my 2nd time doing it (first time completely lost it lol), very very happy :D . Just have to start saving for my first motor now.
 
I am also a 2nd timer with 14minors, I think I win. :p

I still consider myself more in control of the vehicle and alert than any of my friends. Also I have done more miles since I have passed than my mates entire car has ever done. lol.

I passed mine on the 20th December. 8 minors, first time round... I was real lucky. Oh, and the fact i can drive helps lol!!

Tesla, if you speak to Gord, you and him can discuss your minors, cos i think he got 14 on his first time round!

few words of advice:

Dont drive for a few days
Dont break the speed limits <<< believe me on that one, I think I might have 3 or 4 fines I have to wait in terror for 2 weeks now :/
Dont show off or rev your car
Dont stare at nice women even if they look at you, keep your eyes on the road!
Dont go fast in ice
Always wear a seatbelt
Break in good distance
Dont listen to people (usually mates) saying "go on speed up" etc

Aha, driving: its not as great as I thought it was
 
Remember this:


There is always one....



That one can be anything that will kill you or someone else if you don't consider it.

I.e

Blind corner taken too fast, artic lorry jack-knifed in road, you go bang and die. :)

oops :D

passed my test in september, come october (at uni) and it was icy. car full of people + me in hurry (woke up late at 5am!) + ice at the bottom of the hill = fun!

crashed that day too :/

Did all this happen to you? :)

Dont be scared of dirt roads, once u have drivin on them a lot u will be able to fly down them :D (BUT ONLY ONCE UVE DRIVIN ON THEM a lot AND LEARNT HOW YOUR CAR REACTS TO THEM!!!)
 
What car did you get zain? and when you say 'dont drive for a few days' - is 35 days good enough!?!

(I lie, i took my pass plus on the 13th... that was fun, saw a big tail back on the Northbound carrigeway, a truck had clipped another truck. We saw at least 9 miles of tailback!)
