... this morning! :D 0 minors, my examiner and instructor said it is the only one they have ever seen in 14 years of being in the business! Go me! The roads are now my limits haha :)

Well done and congrats :) Got a car yet? :p

Sure do, it's a dark green 1.1i Cit' Saxo :) Cost me a small sum of £1300 with only 46 on the clock, clean as a whistle she is. Insurance only cost me £650 too. One of my friends paid £2900 for her insurance but she is a women; so she is obviously much more dangerous :p

Nice. A guy at works' son got 0 minors and he carried his papers around for weeks like some sort of trophy.

It's all I have been telling people: 'NO MINORS, NOT ONE! ZERO!' :p I have to get my instructor a copy of the report so he can laminate; I am his first student to pass with 0 minors :p

Thanks for the kind words... and the warnings also :p

Are you fronting in order to get £650? That's what I pay on a Classic policy at 17, and none of my friends are even remotely close to it on normal cars!

Big grats on 0 minors though, I thought I was fairly good with 3! :p

God knows what my insurance is, my mum set everything up for me. :p It is with Zurich Direct (I think) and is fully comp, that is as far as my knowledge goes - I just drive!

Strangely enough I feel a lot more confident when driving on my own without my instructor or mum telling me / watching my every move. I haven't had a go on the big motorways or anything yet, or gone long distance, but around the towns here I feel safer on my own. Possibly because I haven't got my teachers double checking everything I do is safe all the time leaving me forced to do it.

The car is sound as a pound. Was driving around in it from about 12-9 last night and used under £10 of petrol, almost runs on air :p The only problem is that the mudflaps seem to be catching on the wheels. I thought I had a flat tyre but I think the mudflap must have caught on the wheel and was bent up the tyre rubbing on it - going to have to try sort it out. Also I went in the car wash with a wax and ended up totally blind as all the windows had smudged :p

But yeah, I don't fancy driving like a tail end. For one I can't afford crashing, repairing my car, or replacing my or someone elses life :o

Already sorted lifts to and from college, £1 a pop, 4 in the car each should be a tidy sum over a week :)
