Hey fellas,

Here's a thread for us all who have passed to celebrate without invading the failed thread :D

Passed first time this afternoon, test at 14:57 with two minors....one was because I didnt answer "how do check the power steering is working"...the obvious answer i immediately thought of (try turning wheel with engine off, then with engine on ) seemed too simple so i didnt answer...turns out, that was the right answer :( Other was i went a tad wide reversing around the corner but corrected it so it was only a minor.

:D

[16:09] <Dangerous> was soo easy I did it twice!

cheers fellas :) had 18 hours of tuition before hand, which is below average i think, but by no means low :)

have the worst headache of my life cos of an ear infection, was royally screwing with my concentration but luckily it was still good enough.

Your attempt at j turns in the "tractor" were indeed invaluable Oblivious :D

Pho funnily enough i was talking to my examiner about cameras the entire way round :D i reccomended he tried the gimp as he wasnt willing to shell out for photoshop, and he wrote it on the top of my test sheet to remember lol :D

congrats, it must be contagious (sp) my lad passed his this afternoon as well with 2 minors, (they must have been in the back of the car,as he could not remember picking them up :D )

i passed first time too.

was about 18 years ago though so can't remember much about it, except: -

1) stopped a good 4 feet over the line at a red light.
i know i was over cos i checked the position out in the reflection of the window of the shop opposite and the line was right under my seat!

2) did my 3 point turn (as it was then) on an industrial estate that was still under construction. the bit of road he stopped me on to turn was probably wide enough to get it round in one, but i made the effort to at least look like i was trying. it also hadn't had the kerbs put in yet so i'm not sure i could have failed that bit.

i guess i got lucky ;)
