Finally! Failed my first and managed to regress quite a bit after a long break, though I still pulled it off with only three faults. Very pleased! :)

Is pass plus really worth doing?

ask your insurer if they take pass plus into account, my gf did it, it really helped her overcome her motorway fear, and knocked a bit off her insurance, so win/win in her book :)

don't take any risks whilst driving, leave that to playing GTA

I'd say go for it with pass plus, from what a few people of told me it does knock a sizable chunk of your insurance :)

Congratulations and: "Now you really learn how to drive" :p

Congrats, its a great feeling isnt it

I personally found the discounts with pass plus pretty minimal. I'd look at something like the IAM if you want to further your driving skills, you'll get much more out of it

Pass Plus made far less than it was worth difference to me, although I'm not with a mainstream insurer.

I'm still considering it for motorway experience.

definatly do your pass plus, you get to see what it like to be treated like a non learner (he should take the L off the roof as you've passed) but have someone who can help you.

I never bothered with pass plus myself as the saving on my insurance premium didnt justify the £120 cost of the actual course.

If the savings had been greater than £200 then i would have considered it, but as it was it was just under £80 so not worth while.

Well done :D

Yea, pass plus is definitely worth it, however i think it only affects insurance if done within a certain time after passing your test so be aware of that :D

But yes, would certainly be beneficial, if not just for insurance reduction but because you experience motorway driving too, which is always good
