don't think there's anything really wrong with that is there?
i had a new car sitting at home since march and i didn't get a chance to drive it til last sunday (because i was at uni and went to hong kong for 2 months)
congratulations! (BUT LET'S FACE IT - IT WASN'T EXACTLY THE HARDEST THING YOU'VE EVER DONE IN YOUR LIFE!)
nothing wrong with having a car before you have passed, I didnt becuase the temptation would have been too much but if people know they wont take it out I see no problem, what car did you place an order for, and congrats.
Jonny, you have to do the Common Sense test (i.e the written bit you always had to do) and also Hazard Perception now. basically you watch short videos on a PC and click when you see a hazard that might cause you to brake, change direction etc. The quicker you spot it, the more points you get, but if you click to much then you don't get any points.
