Passed the MOT "But"

Very happy it's passed again - 12 yr old Focus -
Anyway there was one advisory -seems the inside brake pads on both front wheels were very well worn but outside pads have half pads left - Ordered some for tomorrow. The old ones are Green Pads.
anyone any ideas why the insides might get worn.

Calliper sliders are likely gummed up with years of brake dust and road grime - pop them out and give them a clean and a grease before you reassemble them...

Inner pads on most cars wear more than the outside pads as that is where the piston pushes first.

Yea worth checking you caliper all moves freely including the piston.
