Hi

I have a small HiperMedia case for a small server. It looks like a small DVD player so fits in well with the rest of the stuff pretty well, its only 53mm high and fits a micro-atx board.

Ive currently got a 775 Celeron 2.5ghz in there, but looking at changing it to which ever AMD 754/939/AM2 processor (im guessing AM2) gives the lowest heat output.

Does anybody have any ideas if any of the AMD's can be passively cooled with a very low profile heatsink and am i right in thinking, that any of the low end AMD chips have got to be cooler than the celeron currently in there. With the low profile heatsink/fan in there at the moment the celeron runs around 60oC at idle (lol), i can adjust the fan to cool it to around 46oC but due to the small size, makes quite a lot of noise......hence the change of processor.

EDIT - Server uses very very little CPU power, hence the celeron
