My case can take 2 x 240mm rads but the bottom rad would have no fans
Would the bottom of the case be better with a Passive rad or extra fans

That's as cjgardens said
Going to depend what you're cooling
And whether the case will have plenty airflow

You could get creative
Put a set of castors on the case
And mount bottom fans on the outside at the bottom
It's not called custom watercooling for no reason lol
I have castors on mine partly because it weighs a ton
And so I can do stuff like put the drain port
Underneath where its absolutely at the lowest point of the loop

Can it take 280mm rads?

No room for push pull. 240mm and one set of fans at top, at bottom 240mm or fans only.

Cooling 5600 + 6800xt in an itx case

Desk top itx case.
I ones had a paid of 540mm rads strapped to the back of my desk but this time I’d like it all inside

As long as your other rad has fans extracting air from the case the bottom one will have air pulled though it due to the negative pressure inside your case, maybe make sure all your fans are extracting to maximise that effect? Personally I'd go that route as ultimately it's likely to be quieter than a single rad and lots of fans with similar heat disipation.

Never done small form factor
So not really my area
Would have thought more air flow
But that's just a guess on my part
No front or rear fan?
And of course how much fan noise you are willing
To put up with will be a factor

In a small form factor case I'd expect it to have less air leakage than a larger case so the single set of fans should work fine.

It will have massive air leakage the back of the case is grilled.

No front or rear fans.

I know people have run massive passive raids I just didn’t know if extra area was better then nothing.

Looking at the case it dose come with a 10mm spacer to make the legs longer. Maybe I could get a slim fan on the outside. I’ll have to find the spacers out

Looking at my case I’ve decided to stick with dual 120mm aio’s I think it’s better as I would defo need to put a rad outside to get the pump/ res in

Their are pump/res/cpu block combos nowadays that work pretty well as far as the videos go.

I'd have a look at them first otherwise in a few months you might stumble on them and get the itch again.
