Passive Radiator

Hi All,

At some point I'mn looking to wc my Pentium D 830 and soon tobe Q6600. I'm really looking for a very quiet solution and therefore was considering a passive rad. I stumbled across these Konvekt-O-Matic and wondered if anyone had experience of these rads or could recommend another passive rad?

If you want to go passive why not just get a reserator
the XT is not passive but is completely silent.

That's my experiences of going passive. Now got my quad core running at 4.1GHz with my temps hitting low 70s full load after a few hours.

Been there, done that, dense fin radiators aren't overly great for passive cooling and you'll still hear the fans (or more likely the air flowing through the radiator).

Only thing I hear in my WC loop is the Laing Pro pump and the hard drives, thats with 3 Silverstone fans on the radiator on lowest setting

I don't have any mechanical drives and my pump is totally isolated from everything else to elimiate vibration.

The noisest thing in my PC is my monitor.

Wish my pump was silent and I could put my HDD back into their 5.25" enclosures! They just get waaay too hot!

EK Supreme on the CPU
DD Maze4 on the NB
EK 8800GT on the GPU
All plumbed with 10/8mm Waterchill tubing and compression fittings
Laing DDC Ultra 18W

Using a Corsair 620W PSU at the moment, amazingly quiet, was surprised with it.
