Passkeys and Google

I'm just getting into making things more secure like using bitwarden, and now I have come across Gmail and passkeys I was reading all negative things, like if you change your phone or even if you reset your phone there is no way to get your account back, is this true? is it better not to have passkeys turned on in Gmail?

That's only if you have the phone itself managing passkeys. Since you have Bitwarden managing it, it'll be synced over their servers so as long as you have access to that on other devices, you should be fine.
 
I see so if you only have one device you will be screwed if something happened to the device,unless you have a password manager.
