Have you got your ESTA visa? You'd like to think if there was a problem they'd have highlighted it when processing this, but then again this is US immigration you're dealing with.

cheers for the reply mickey :) we seen then but when phoned up and pointed that out the guy on phone told he could not confirm or deny what it said on website  great if true though :D

Have to have 6 months left on your passport? Not heard that one before. What would be the point in having an expiry date if it expired six months beforehand.

Seeing as this thread has been answered, Can I just hi-jack it save making a new one?

My question to maths/science peeps.

I've got an equation where the answer is put into 2 sig figs, the answer is needed in a second equation do I keep it as 2 sig figs for the second equation eg. 3.2 or do I go back to the original answer 3224.2?

In the second equation I would work with the most accurate number possible until the final presentation where you trim to 2 sig fig.

Switching earlier may alter the accuracy severely.

I agree, seems logical. Just no example of my work book of a trimmed figure being used twice. So have nothing to work from!

Its a standard myth* loads of people still believe is the case.

*it is still relevant to some locations, generally places most people are unlikely to go, for example Pakistan and several countries in Africa to name a few.

Quite a few countries have rules like that about entry, a lot of SE asia for example.
