Have noticed that installing apps on both my phone and iPad has started reverting to asking for my password instead of using Face ID all of a sudden.
Toggling the setting off and on again in Face ID settings cures it (after prompting for the damn password again) but this doesn't last and it starts prompting for the password again shortly afterward.
Both on iOS 26.3.1 and starting to wonder if they've broken something.
