password protected sharing doesn't seem to be working in vista?

Hi all,

I'm trying to use password protected sharing in vista to stop all the other computers on my network from viewing some of my folders. The problem is even when enabled all the other computer seem to be able to just view my password protected folders without having to log in.

Any ideas?
