Password security

I need to keep a large number of passwords secure but available to me.
Currently they are in emails, but I'd like to centralise them.

Does anyone know of a decent password keeper app for Windows so I can get them out of the emails and in a secure location?

not specifically a password keeper, but truecrypt is good, I keep mine in a text file secured in a truecrypt virtual disk

I know some people who use KeePass, but also consider writing them down and storing them in a safe or secure place if that's possible (it's what I do).

KeePass

I've always used the classic version and can't fault it. You can use a keyfile and/or password to lock it.

Another vote for TrueCrypt here, never used KeePass, but with TC you can embed a hidden file within the encrypted archive. You can pick your own encryption, and a couple of passwords to prevent exposure through duress.
