im using the paste that came with my tuniq 120 just now but im gonna be ordering some stuff off OC this week. Question is would it really be worth getting something like artic silver or would the difference between it and this paste be practially 0

Depends. A lot of these new pastes that come with the HSF's are suprisingly good. A few years back, using the supplied thermal paste was as good as using toothepaste! I assume the paste with the tuniq tower isn't that bad, but I'm sure some high quality paste could give better temps.

I've been a long time AS ceramique user, due to the ease of application. I've moved to AS5 recently though because it gives slightly better temps (by 2C or so), but I guessed for a few degrees in cooling, I might as well get the AS5.

I think no one truly knows especially with these different kinds of paste that come with random heatsink combo's, but that just in case they arent that good the recommendation is to use your own AS5.

Ive always used AS5 after reading one review that compared many years ago and have stuck to that - not sure if thats changed now, but AS5 seems to do the job well. Its also an incredible hassle to test pastes out yourself, as some needs a few hours/days/weeks to get to optimum, plus its just no fun having to take off heatsinks and reapply the paste just for a few degrees probably, thats how I see it anyway.
