I have a block of HTML that I need to paste into HTML so that the actual code remains in the cell. The code I have is a formatted table containing text and images but when I paste the code into a cell, the actual table appears in excel, not the code.

I need to be able to paste the entire code into one cell to form part of a csv upload file.

Any help would be much appreciated

Save the html as a .txt file and open it in MS Excel, choose Delimited then untick all delimiters, save as CSV.
bit of a pain, but it works.

thanks for the replies. Pasting into the formula bar seems to strip some of the formatting out. Saving as a .txt and then opening in Excel seems to work but i need all the code to be in the same cell.

Presumably, if i edit the .txt file so everything is on the same line, that should do the trick.

It will indeed, is it a lot of code?
