just got this game. Man it is weird. But kinda gripping in a way. Its different from your usual adventure/rpg fare.

If you have played a lot of pc games where the graphics have been great but you find you still dont like the game give this a try. The graphics suck.
(actually i dont find the graphics that bad but the realised world style is very samey and you do have to wander about a lot)



MINUSES
Graphics aint great (building interiors are worse than outdoors imo)
Crappy sound - but suits the atmosphere somehow?
Models are a tad sub standard
Story is translated from russian = doesnt make sense half the time.
Boring coz architectural style of buildings is too similar?


PLUSES
It is very atmospheric - kinda eery.
It seems to have a lot of depth.
Proves you dont need great graphics to be immersed in a game.

Havent made up my mind about it yet but it has my interest so far.

Im only on day 1 (12 days) so i just started but its just soo weird lol. Ill continue with it and update ya on what i think about it.

I think its available on budget.(£10 ish)

At first it sorta made me think of Arcanum but in 3d. But i think you have to have a lot of patience because the story is weird as well.

theres a demo available kicking about.

Seems to be a slow burner - might seem a little boring as well (just coz the town looks very samey)

Definately not your standard pc game adventure/rpg though.

Feels like a mod rather than a full game though... e.g. inside of buildings have nearly always same layout.

Where did you guys get it from? I just read a review and it sounds intriguing. Definetly something to look into buying in the near future.
 
got mine from well known online retailer for £12.99 i wouldnt pay more than that tbh.

I like the lightning effects at night when its raining. On each new day conversation options are renewed for each main character (approx 30 main characters you have to talk to/manipulate do quests for)

tip: buy lots of food on day 1 as the price goes up on day 2.
 
Ill have a look around, ive been looking for a 'dark' sort of game for quite a while and that 2 minute gameplay trailer, well the music just fits in with a 'dark' atmosphere :D
