Parents have just bough a 40" toshiba 1080p LCD. We don't have any HD inputs, other than V+ HD channels. I have all my blurays etc ripped on my PC upstairs so I was thinking of getting a patriot box office media play for the TV downstairs.
Few questions. How good are they? The 5.1 system downstairs is budget and frankly not very good (parents never bloody listen to me). How would I connect the audio to the receiver part to get 5.1? It has optical in, but that's taken up by the V+ box. Is HDMI only 2ch stereo?
