With 3900X back to the original MSRP of £479.99 (new MSRP is £499.99 due to weaker pound), now is the time to make that upgrade, with some very tasty components indeed! :)

Great prices.. if only they did this in September when I bought my 3900X :(

Not put together a system yet but tempted by the 32gb!

Memory is cheapest it has ever being for me to buy in USD, were at new record lows now. Were just not quite seeing those record lows yet in GBP due to the pound being considerably weaker than the last time memory prices got this low, but in fairness the cheapest we did a 32Gb kit last time was £79.99 and that was for a bog standard 2400MHz kit, if we had the pound at similar strength we'd be pretty much at that price but with this superior 3200MHz kit.

So its nice to see memory so cheap and its also nice the price is bottoming around peak season, so its fallen nicely, a plus that SSD's have fallen too and the stronger pound and more official stock means were now back to AMD's original MSRP on 3900X, as their new MSRP is now £499 to cater for weaker pound.

Price trend is up, DRAM extremely marginal. But SSD's have risen around 5% in past week and more rises expected in new year.
My memory contacts inform me on DRAM right now its far less dramatic so prices have held or gone up around a percent but they say next year will likely see rises due to production being shifted heavily to mobile devices more so than previous years.

At least the prices hit bottom for peak season and Christmas time, which makes a nice change. :)

why i posted up the dram exchange article .
will be consoles most likely that will eat up remaining surplus pretty quickly , with a year still to go on ddr4 for PC gamers till DDR5

SSD is critcally all of a sudden, I simply cannot buy a single SSD right now, so the prices their have gone up quite a lot, like someone flicks a switch overnight and all of a sudden buying SSD from the manufacturers is near impossible.

Now they are getting figity over memory, prices going up, some refusing to even quote, so for sure dive in.

this Sata 3 or NVMe ? again with MS and Sony moving to 'Next Gen' - (or as well know, currently in are PCs ) would that be eating supplies ? guessing with pending 10nm Intel laptops

you'll be quoted on that now- you'll be famous again in hardware news haha .

least Trade war at a bit of a standstill......

All SSD and some memory manufacturers are refusing to quote as they have no stock and cannot obtain supply of IC, once they can get supply then they shall quote I guess based on supply and demand.......
