Ford PATS Systems

Hi all,

Is there anyway to find out if my Focus has one and if its PATS I or PATS II. Now its an 2003 focus zetec and I bought it private second hand. Now I didnt get a red master key with car but does this mean its a PATS II system?

you dont get a red key with a 2003, blue ones normally. you need 2 to code a third in. most mobile automotive locksmiths should be able to cut and program a second key in for around £60 (around here) or ford , usually £49+vat plus the key (again around here).
if you already have 2 then get a third cut and programing is in the handbook.
