Hello,

I am looking for advice on what memory to get for my:

PAVILLION 15-EC1009NA NVIDIA GTX 1660 TI, 16GB, 15.6" FHD, AMD RYZEN 7 4800H GAMING LAPTOP

Main thing I would like to know, before getting memory, is if the panel underneath the laptop gives access to the memory slots, or if it is like my old laptop where I had to take the whole thing apart to get to the memory (it did not have a panel underneath, it was all one part).
I would like to know this before I buy memory, because if it is like my old one I think I will skip buying new memory for now.
Also does anyone know if it is a 16gb memory module already installed or 2 8gb modules.
Actually! Also also is the SSD card under that panel also?

So if anyone who has a PAVILLION 15-EC1009NA laptop know the answer to these questions, I would appreciate if you could let me know.

Cheers in advance.

Have a look at CPU-Z, it should tell you what configuration your memory is installed, though you'd probably know anyway because gaming would be a bit poop if it's only running single channel.

The service manual might be on a CD, you should be able to download it if you check the HP website.

This one has similar specifications to yours, but it is older, so not sure if it's the same:
