Will OCUK or 8 pack offerr this arrangement

We send our hardwear once aproved with an agreed possible overclock and also an ideal max.

7 days latter it's back from the hands of a god and faster than what we can do.

£100 done!

??

I don't want to to oc my system my self, i want 8 pack to

Couple of business problems with that. The main one being what happens in the event of something going wrong? Not saying it will but for how long are oc or 8pack expected to warrety these overclocks for, should it go wrong is it at our risk or theirs? If its theirs would 100 quid cover the potential amount of i5s and 7s that might fail?

Not as straight forward as just doing

Overclocking is actually pretty easy now a days thanks to sandybirdge and ivybridge. With a bit of patience reading and practice you will pick up the basics enough to get a good overclock yourself without going to extreme levels.

When I built my second X79 system having done it once (with 8 Packs help) 10 minutes work and I was done, CPU, memory timings and subs, volts etc.

It only starts to get time consuming when you are trying to squeeze every last bit out of your system and then you end up with something not very stable and no use for 24/7.

Do you!!! I have stable 5ghz 3930k's 3770K's etc etc.... Your squeezing more out say 200mhz same cooling with higher efficientcy. Benching is not stable no but this is an extra 700mhz - 1ghz on most systems.

I can get mine both stable @4.9 for 24/7 use but most of the time just run them @4.0 for gaming and everyday use. The only time I wind them up is for benching other than that it is pointless having them going that quick doing nothing much.

I recentley upgraded the cooling on my 3960, I went from a H100 to a custom w/c loop (360 rad, 6 fans and twin d5 pumps) all on the CPU and it did not make the slightest difference to its oc limit. The temps are lot lower though. !!!

Idd just allows ya to throw more volts at it in my experience, the only time ive noticed cooling actually always give me a better overclock regardless of the volts was with phase change.
